Alclad 3003 aluminum tube API 650 cylindrical welded storage tanks

Natural ventilation loss: the main cause of natural ventilation loss is that the API 650 cylindrical welded storage tanks is not tightly sealed. This is usually due to corrosion perforation on the top of the oil tank, or there is a height difference between the two orifices. The air tightness of the mixture in the API 650 cylindrical welded storage tanks is higher than that of the air, which causes the mixture gas in the tank to be discharged into the atmosphere from the lower hole, and the external air flows into the tank from the high hole, resulting in natural ventilation loss.

The Charpy V-notch test shall be used, and the minimum impact value at the design metal temperature shall be as given in Table R-2. For subsize specimen acceptance criteria, see ASTM A20. An impact test temperature lower than the design metal temperature may be used by the API 620 welded storage tanks Manufacturer, but in such a case the impact values at the test temperature must comply with Table R-2.

The working pressure of the low-pressure storage tank is greater than that of the atmospheric storage tank, but its pressure is less than 0.1MPa. API 650 petroleum storage tanks are classified according to their environment: Above-ground storage tank: refers to the bottom of the storage tank at the design elevation of API 650 cylindrical welded storage tanks and above; the bottom of the tank is below the design elevation of +0.00 but not exceeding.
