ASTM A334 pipe API 650 fixed roof tanks
A refrigerated tank may be a single-wall insulated tank or a double-wall tank that consists of an inner tank for storing the refrigerated liquid and an outer tank that encloses an insulation space (which usually has a lower gas pressure) around the inner tank. A double-wall tank is a composite tank, and the outer tank is not required to contain the product of the inner tank. In a double-wall tank, differences in API Standard 620 tank materials, design, and testing exist between the inner and outer tanks.
API 650 is widely used for tanks that are designed to internal pressures of 2.5 PSI or less and store products such as crude oil, gasoline, chemicals and API 650 Fixed roof tanks produced water. Advance Tank has extensive experience with API 650 tanks ranging in diameter from 8' - 300' for refineries, terminals, pipeline facilities and other clients.
Prefabrication requirements of large vertical API 650 fixed roof tanks accessories: the prefabrication shall be deepened as far as possible in strict accordance with the requirements of construction drawings and specifications, according to the principle of convenient installation and construction, as much as possible to reduce the installation workload, especially the workload of high-altitude operation. The prefabricated accessories shall be strictly inspected to ensure the quality and make marks. In addition, effective measures should be taken to prevent deformation, damage and corrosion during storage, transportation and stacking on site.
