Impact Tests for High AlloysImpact tests are not required for the high-alloy (austenitic stainless steel) API 650 SUG III tanks base materials, nickel alloy based materials, aluminum base materials, and weld deposited for the nonferrous (aluminum) materials. Impact tests are not required for austenitic stainless steel welds deposited by all the welding processes for services of –200°F and above. Austenitic stainless steel welds deposited for service below –200°F by all welding processes shall be impact tested in accordance with Q.6.2 except that the required impact values shall be 75% of the values as given in Q.2.2.2, Item c.API 650 can store oil, gas, chemical, water and biofuel for some of the most common tanks in the oil industry. API 650 can store contents at a lower pressure (maximum of 2 PSI) but at much higher temperature (-40 degrees F to 500 degrees F) than the standards of API 650 SUG III tanks. Commonly used heating methods include hot oil circulation heating method and hot water steam circulation heating method. The hot oil circulation heating method is to continuously extract part of the liquid medium from the storage tank, and then return it to the container to mix with the medium in the tank after heating, and the heat is quickly transferred through mechanical stirring.Our company has established and constantly improved the customer service system and emergency response system.
