Normalizing is to heat the steel parts to 30~80℃above the critical temperature for a period of time. Then the parts are taken out of the furnace and cooled in air. Since the cooling rate of normalizing is faster than that of annealing, the strength and hardness of normalized API 650 carbon steel tank are higher than that of annealed API 650 carbon steel tank, but the elimination of internal stress is not as good as annealing. The normalizing operation of API 650 carbon steel tank is simple, the cost is low, the productivity is high, and it is widely used in actual production.

In April 2018, our Philiphine customer purchased 1008 Tons API5L Gr.B ERW&Q345B SMLS pipe for offshore oil field resources drilling project. This is a regular demand almost two month, and we has been cooperated more than three times, totally around 2100 tons steel pipe since 2015 year.

S355J2G3 is low alloy high strength structural steel, and it is roughly equivalent to GB Q345D.S355J2G3 is a European standard steel with composition of C ≤ 0.20, Si ≤ 0.55, Mn ≤ 1.60, P ≤ 0.035, S ≤ 0.035. The meaning of J2G3 indicates that the delivery state of S355J2G3 steel is normalized, the impact energy at - 20 ℃ is 27J. G3 and G4 indicate the deoxidization mode. API 650 carbon steel tank, S355J2G3 steel is semi killed steel, S355J2G4 steel is fully killed steel.
