API Std 650 welded steel storage tanks slab foundations
This specification, in conjunction with API 650 Standard, prescribes minimum standards for the API Std 650 welded steel storage tanks design, supply fabrication, erection, and testing of field erected welded steel storage tanks complete with accessories as specified herein and as shown on attached datasheets and/or drawings.
The Charpy V-notch test shall be used, and the minimum impact value at the design metal temperature shall be as given in Table R-2. For subsize specimen acceptance criteria, see ASTM A20. An impact test temperature lower than the design metal temperature may be used by the API 620 welded storage tanks Manufacturer, but in such a case the impact values at the test temperature must comply with Table R-2.
As we all know, steel pipes occupy more space in the process of transportation. If there is no good way of packing, the transportation cost for steel pipes will be a big expense. In view of this characteristic, our company is ingenious and adopts the nest package method to solve this problem perfectly. The premise of the nest package is that the diameters of the steel pipes are different, and the small diameter pipe is inserted in the large diameter pipe. This not only saves the volume, but also saves the transportation cost. It also reduces the loading and unloading workload by half, saves precious time, and enables customers to receive goods earlier.
