API standard 650 self-anchored flat-bottom steel tanks manufacturer's standard drain

API 650 is the standard for welded tanks for oil storage. It specifies the API standard 650 self-anchored flat-bottom steel tanks design, manufacturing, welding, inspection and installation requirements of oil tanks. API 650 is widely used in storage tanks with internal pressure less than or equal to 2.5 PSI.

Using advanced logistics management, advanced models and management experience to increase the reliability of logistics operations and provide customers with 24/7 cargo management. On the premise of reducing transportation and management costs as much as possible, we provide customers with high-quality and efficient services; good business reputation has been recognized and supported by our customers.

Any joints between the adjacent sections of API 620 oil storage tank stiffening rings, as shown in Figure Q-1, shall be made so that the required moment of inertia of the combined ring-shell section is provided. Weld joints between adjacent sections shall be made with full-thickness and full-penetration butt-welds. Stiffening-ring butt-welds may employ metal backing strips. Backing strips and the associated welding shall be made in a manner that provides a smooth contour in the rat hole and all other weld joint ends. All weld passes shall be started at the rat hole and other weld joint ends and shall be completed by moving away from these ends. Passes shall be overlapped away from edges to provide a smooth continuous weld.

Safety comparison between mechanical cleaning and manual cleaning of vertical storage tank, API standard 650 self-anchored flat-bottom steel tanks. Closed cleaning is adopted for mechanical cleaning. During the cleaning process, operators are not required to enter the tank. The inert gas space formed in the storage tank can prevent the occurrence of fire, explosion and other accidents. When the API standard 650 self-anchored flat-bottom steel tanks is manually cleaned, the operators should directly enter the tank for cleaning, threatening the health of employees, and there is no inert gas space in the tank, which is prone to fire and explosion accidents.
