API standard 650 mechanically-anchored steel tanks full-fillet weld
The impact tests for API 620 welded storage tanks used pipe (including structural members made of pipe), bolting, and forgings, shall be in accordance with ASTM specifications ASTM A333 (seamless only) pipe, ASTM A36 Mod 1 plate, ASTM A131 Grades CS, D, and E steel plate, ASTM A633 Grade A CSA G40.21 Grades 38WT, 44WT and 50WT high-strength low-alloy structural steel plate, ASTM A350 carbon and low alloy steel forgings, and ASTM A320 Grade L7 bolts.
The vent pipe mouth should be 4m or more above the ground. The nominal diameter of the API standard 650 mechanically-anchored steel tanks API 650 petroleum storage tank vent pipe should be no less than 50mm and a flame arrestor should be installed.
Prefabrication requirements of API standard 650 mechanically-anchored steel tanks, large vertical storage tank wall panels:1. The prefabrication of wall panel shall be processed in strict accordance with the requirements of the drawings, and inspection records shall be made.2. After the wall panel is rolled, it should be placed on the platform for inspection with a template. In the vertical direction, use a straight-line template to check, the gap should not be greater than 2 mm, and in the horizontal direction, use an arc-shaped template to check, and the interval should not be greater than 4 mm.3. When wall panels are rounded, attention should be paid to prevent irreversible plastic deformation caused by external forces. After rolling, it should be placed on the platform for inspection, and then placed on the prepared mold.
