API 650 carbon steel tank single-welded butt joint with backing
With the continuous development of large-scale oil storage tanks, the foundation of API 650 carbon steel tank has also continued to grow. Among them, API 650 carbon steel tank vertical oil tanks are storage tanks commonly used to store crude oil, diesel, gasoline and other oil materials. This type of storage tank is set up as a cylindrical shape. The bottom of the tank is a circular flat bottom plate, and the load surface of the oil tank is basically horizontal, which can generally be regarded as a uniform load, and has greater flexibility.
API 650 is constructed from carbon steel, austenitic duplex stainless steel, and API 650 carbon steel tank aluminium A Welding Certification is stipulated by American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), Section 10. There is a required inspection, no third party. The inspection cost is the cost of the NDE.
The company's logistics adopts the method of cooperation with logistics companies. As a third-party logistics company is engaged in the operation of multiple logistics projects, it can integrate various logistics resources, making the logistics operation cost relatively low and the logistics operations more efficient. Thus we can provide more professional logistics services, while also focusing on our core business of steel materials.
When the API 650 carbon steel tank top shell course is the minimum thickness indicated in 5.10.4, Table 5-6 and Figure 5-6, details a – e, h and i, the minimum anchorage shall be designed for normal loads as specified by the Purchaser and by this standard. See 5.11.2.3 for the allowable stress. When the top shell course is thickened beyond the minimum thickness provided in Table 5-6 or as in Figure 5-6, details f and g, or a knuckle is used, the minimum anchorage shall be designed for three times the internal design pressure. The allowable stress for this loading is 90% of the minimum specified yield strength of anchorage material.
