API 650 carbon and low-alloy steel tanks requirement
Upon completion of API 650 carbon and low-alloy steel tanks construction, provide Purchase with a Vendor's Certification that the tank conforms to the requirements of API 650 and to the additional requirements as specified.
Land transportation inquiry: (RMB fee) it is required to master the kilometers and towing price of major cities; packing price of each port area; customs clearance fee, commodity inspection fee, and animal and plant inspection fee standard. Key information to be clarified after accepting the consignation of the consignor (generally fax): shipping date, number of packages, box type, box quantity, gross weight and volume.
Except as permitted by API standard 620 Q.8.6, the test shall be conducted after the entire tank is complete, before the insulation is applied. Except as limited by foundation or stress conditions, the test shall consist of filling the tank with water to the design liquid level and applying an overload air pressure of 1.25 times the pressure for which the vapor space is designed. The load on the supporting foundation shall preferably not exceed the established allowable bearing value for the tank site. Where a thorough evaluation of the foundation justifies a temporary increase, the established allowable bearing may be increased for the test condition, but the increase shall be not more than 25%.
The factors affecting the "small breathing" loss of API 650 carbon and low-alloy steel tanks are: 1. It is related to the change of temperature difference between day and night. The greater the change of temperature difference between day and night, the greater the loss of "small breathing"; on the contrary, the smaller the change of temperature difference between day and night, the smaller the loss. 2. It is related to the sunshine time of the oil storage tank. The longer the sunshine, the more the "small breathing" loss; otherwise, the less the loss.
