A841 grade B class 2 plates API Std 650 SUG III tanks
API 650 is an American standard for welding flat bottom vertical storage tanks. This API Std 650 SUG III tanks standard specifies requirements for the design, manufacturing, welding, inspection and installation of storage tanks. API 650 is widely used in storage tanks designed to withstand low internal pressures and used to store typical products such as API Std 650 SUG III tanks crude oil, gasoline, chemicals and water. BBN has extensive experience in API 650 tanks, from +/- 500 cubic meters of tanks produced in the factory to +/- 15000 cubic meters of tanks produced on site

Determination of Required CapacityThe aggregate capacities required for any vent valves, pressure-relieving valves, and/or vacuum-relieving valves to be provided should be determined as follows:a)For thermal breathing and product movement, the rules given in API 2000 shall be followed. The required capacity as the result of the product movement into the tank API Std 650 SUG III tanks given in API 2000, shall be multiplied by the ratio of the absolute tank pressure to atmospheric pressure (14.7 lbf/in.2 absolute).b)For supplemental safety pressure-relieving devices to take care of extra venting capacity required in case of external fire exposure, the rules in API 2000 shall be followed.
