The thickness of the API standard 650 open-top tanks annular bottom plates shall be in accordance with Table Q-4 (for steel or aluminum, as applicable). The thicknesses shown are minimums. Unless otherwise specified, according to API standard 650 open-top tanks ASTM A123, the following accessories shall be hot-dip galvanized. The damaged zinc coating should be repaired with zinc alloy.
