Determination of Required Capacity
The aggregate capacities required for any vent valves, pressure-relieving valves, and/or vacuum-relieving valves to be provided should be determined as follows:
a)For thermal breathing and product movement, the rules given in API 2000 shall be followed. The required capacity as the result of the product movement into the tank API Std 650 tanks given in API 2000, shall be multiplied by the ratio of the absolute tank pressure to atmospheric pressure (14.7 lbf/in.2 absolute).
b)For supplemental safety pressure-relieving devices to take care of extra venting capacity required in case of external fire exposure, the rules in API 2000 shall be followed.Under the same sealing effect, the internal API Std 650 tanks floating roof API 650 tank can further reduce the evaporation loss compared with the external floating roof API 650 tank. This is due to the shielding of the fixed roof and the gas phase layer between the fixed roof and the inner floating plate, which has more significant heat insulation effect than the double disc floating roof of the API Std 650 tanks external floating roof tank.We have built solid cooperation with Myanmar Navy since 2015, starting from a try order about 412 tons LR AH36 shipbuilding steel plates. Because the higher the temperature in the oil storage tank, the stronger the activity of oil molecules and the greater the volatilization consumption of the oil. Therefore, the temperature in the API Std 650 tanks must be reduced as much as possible. It is possible to reduce the direct sunlight temperature by painting white anticorrosive paint with good light reflectivity. It is also possible to use spray equipment to wash the top and wall of the API Std 650 tanks with water flow to reduce the volatilization consumption of the oil in the storage tank.The company's after-sales service team is a high-quality professional team.
