API 650 ground supported tanks seal materials
The foundation design of the API 650 ground supported tanks should meet the requirements of foundation stability and deformation, that is, the API 650 ground supported tanks foundation should not be crushed and the uneven settlement value of the foundation should be within the allowable range. The uneven settlement of the storage tank foundation should be specified in the design process of the safe allowable range, because excessive uneven settlement will reduce the safety of the API 650 ground supported tanks and cause distortion and deformation of the tank wall and bottom plate.
API 650 storage tank, double-layer oil tank environmental protection advantages: ordinary single-layer steel API 650 ground supported tanks oil tank is corroded by underground water and gas and electrolytic corrosion because it is buried underground all year round. The API 650 tank has a double-layer structure with a gap of 0.1 mm. The API 650 ground supported tanks outer layer of FRP ensures that the leakage will not directly leak into the soil and water source.
Every customer who has visit us and witness the steel materials before delievry will be impressed by our quality control departemnt. Even not come to inspect the steel materials before delievry, our quality control departemnt will also send inspection report to the customer.
The thickness of the API 650 ground supported tanks annular bottom plates shall be in accordance with Table Q-4 (for steel or aluminum, as applicable). The thicknesses shown are minimums. The ring of annual plates shall have a circular outside circumference, but it may have a regular polygonal shape inside the tank shell with the number of sides equal to the number of annular plates. These pieces shall be butt-welded in accordance with Q.7.1.1, Item b. The plates of the first shell course shall be attached to the annular bottom plates by a weld as required by API 620 oil tank 5.9.5 except when a full-penetration weld is used or required (see Q.7.1.1). Butt-welds in annular plates shall be not closer than 12 in. from any vertical weld.
