Impact Tests for High Alloys
Impact tests are not required for the high-alloy (austenitic stainless steel) API standard 650 unanchored liquid-storage tanks base materials, nickel alloy based materials, aluminum base materials, and weld deposited for the nonferrous (aluminum) materials.
