5456 aluminum tube API 650 ground supported tanks
Large Steel storage tank AnchorageIn addition to the loads in API 620 oil storage tank Q.4, Q.5.1, and Q.5.2, the anchorage for the tank that contains liquid, whether it be a single-wall tank or the inner tank of a double-wall tank, shall be designed to meet the requirements of Q.3.6.2 through Q.3.6.5. The anchorage shall accommodate movement of the tank wall and bottom caused by thermal changes. For anchored flat-bottom tanks, the anchorage shall be designed as described in Q.3.6.4.1 through Q.3.6.4.3.
Before the start of erection, inspect each API 650 tank foundation to ensure that it is level and acceptable to receive Work. Remove temporary erection attachments welded to the interior or exterior of the API 650 ground supported tanks shell or to the bottom by arc gouging, and grind weld area smooth.
The coating on the outer wall of API 650 ground supported tanks can not only reflect light but also prevent corrosion. Different coatings for oil tanks have different reflective properties, and the reflective performance of coatings is expressed by reflection index. For example, the reflection index of white coating is 90.0, that of sky blue coating is 85.0, and that of light gray coating is 57.0. It can be seen that the white coating has good reflective performance, and coating the outer surface of API 650 ground supported tanks with white coating can reduce the evaporation consumption of the oil tank.
