3004 aluminum rod API standard 650 liquid-storage tanks
Due to irregular operation of API standard 650 liquid-storage tanks welding, there are many weld deformations during the construction process. Before specific operations, most construction units have formulated relatively complete construction plans and set up special welding process instructions, but the operators have not fully performed welding in accordance with various process guidance requirements and construction specifications, resulting in some quality problems of oil storage tanks. How can we reduce or even avoid this kind of situation?
Heat-affected zone impact specimens shall be taken across the weld and as near the surface of the material as is practicable. The API standard 650 liquid-storage tanks material specimens shall be of sufficient length to locate the notch in the heat-affected zone after etching. The notch shall be cut approximately normal to the material surface to include as much heat-affected zone material as possible in the resulting fracture. Impact test specimens shall be cooled to the temperature stated in Q.22.
According to API 650 tanks, anchoring devices should be designed to transfer overturning moments to the API standard 650 liquid-storage tanks tank foundation. At the same time, according to API 650 tank Appendix F, when the tank is to be anchored, the size of the anchoring parts is determined by the maximum lifting force caused by the internal pressure and wind load or the combination of internal pressure and seismic load.
