The thickness of the API standard 650 anchored liquid-storage tanks annular bottom plates shall be in accordance with Table Q-4 (for steel or aluminum, as applicable). Butt-welds in annular plates shall be not closer than 12 in. from any vertical weld.

(it is considered to be marine grade stainless steel, not suitable for warm sea water treatment). 316L austenitic stainless steel supplied by our company has good formability and weldablity, additionally it is proved to have excellent properties of tensile, creep and stress-rupture strengths in elevated temperature environment.
